Evaluation: the physical therapy exam includes special joint tests, strength testing, assessment of muscle and tissue involved, movement or gait analysis, range of motion and flexibility.   

Diagnosis: the combination of a thorough evaluation & your health history leads to an accurate diagnosis of your musculoskeletal injury.

Education: knowing what your injury is, how to minimize risk for further injury, & improving your overall health is very important. You will be educated on your diagnosis, prognosis (or expected length of recovery/rehab), exercise program and referrals if needed to other specialists.  

Treatments: may include manual therapy, joint mobilization, dry needling, massage, therapeutic stretching and strengthening, pilates, yoga modification, core stabilization training, injury specific exercise, high level balance training, & home exercise program. Wellness visits are also available for athletes of all levels that want to recover from training or competition faster.

—Dry needling (DN) is a non-pharmaceutical therapeutic modality specifically for treating and preventing soft tissue pain and dysfunction. The goal of DN is to normalize soft tissue/muscle by stimulating the central and peripheral nervous systems as well as contracted, scarred and/or adhered tissue; This process enables the body to self-heal.
